On Thursday we finished packing Bella. In the afternoon we rolled out the new sails, and enjoyed a sunny warm evening with a light breeze from NE. It was a strange feeling leaving the yard, not knowing if, or when we will be back. Hallberg-Rassy Yard has not only been my home port , it has also been the place where I have been working for the last 26 years.
But it did not take much more than an hour before we both felt relaxed and exited over the fact, that a new chapter in our life had started. Our first goal is just down to Gothenburg. We have done this trip many times. This time it was a very special feeling. The adventure has started!
This morning was cold and foggy when we left our anchorage south of Marstrand. We had to use the Furuno radar as the visibility was poor. It was a great to have the AIS as we had to pass some busy channels with heavy traffic.
The guest harbor in Gothenburg is right downtown. You are only minutes away from restaurants and shops. We have some last minutes things to do during the weekend before we are ready to continue.
